COMBATIVES · PREVENTION AND PROTECTION

Urban Family Protection

Prevention, awareness, and decision-making training for families, teenagers, and guardians facing everyday risk situations.

The goal is not to prepare people to seek out confrontations. It is to increase the ability to perceive problems early, make better decisions, and protect those around you.

CONTEXT

Protection begins with understanding reality.

Family security cannot be built on fear, isolated videos, or a constant sense of danger. The training is based on information, behavioral analysis, prevention, and decision-making.

81,873 missing persons records in Brazil in 2024.
2,356 children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 were victims of intentional violent deaths in 2024.
+7.8% was the increase in records of assault resulting from domestic violence against children and adolescents compared to 2023.

THE PRINCIPLE

Physical reaction is only a small part of protection.

Before any physical contact, there are decisions: observe, recognize changes in the environment, keep distance, communicate, seek help, move to a safer location, and protect vulnerable people. It is in this space prior to the confrontation that the training focuses its greatest attention.

01

Perceive

Develop situational awareness without creating paranoia or a permanent state of alert.

02

Decide

Recognize when a situation requires a change in behavior, distancing, or the immediate search for help.

03

Protect

Organize communication and simple protocols for families, children, teenagers, and guardians.

04

Exit

Prioritize distance, access to responsible people, safe locations, and ending the situation.

TRAINING

Four axes. One single goal: reduce vulnerabilities.

Perception and behavior

  • Basic environment reading
  • Awareness and digital distraction
  • Recognition of context changes
  • Personal boundaries and clear communication
  • Decision-making under pressure

Family protection

  • Communication between guardians and children
  • Code words and family confirmations
  • Meeting points and safe references
  • Procedures for public places
  • Simple planning for unexpected situations

Urban environment

  • Entering and exiting residences
  • Parking lots and circulation areas
  • Schools and highly crowded places
  • Transportation and urban commuting
  • Responsible smartphone use and location sharing

Initial response

  • Assertive use of voice
  • Immediate search for responsible adults
  • Creating public attention when necessary
  • Moving to safer environments
  • Controlled exercises in decision-making and self-protection

TRAINING TRACKS

The same reality cannot be taught the same way to all ages.

Language, exercises, and complexity levels are adapted to the maturity of each group. The goal is to develop competence without creating unnecessary fear.

7–10 YEARS

Kids Awareness

Basic awareness, use of voice, identifying reference adults, behavior in public places, family communication, and simple procedures for when a child feels unsafe or gets separated from their guardians.

11–14 YEARS

Junior Protection

Expanding autonomy with responsibility, environment reading, personal boundaries, communication, digital distraction, decision-making, and appropriately seeking help.

15–17 YEARS

Urban Awareness

Security in urban commuting, social networks, location sharing, group behavior, transportation, decision-making, contextual awareness, and personal responsibility.

ADULTS

Family Protection

Parents and guardians work on prevention, child protection, family communication, planning, everyday vulnerabilities, and coordination during unexpected situations.

FAMILY

Parents & Kids Training

Guardians and children train together on communication, awareness, meeting points, code words, asking for help, and simple protocols that need to work for the whole family.

METHODOLOGY

Knowing a rule does not mean being able to apply it.

The training utilizes short explanations, observation exercises, decision-making, communication, and supervised simulations.

Participants do not need prior martial arts experience. The goal is not to train fighters, but to develop compatible responses for everyday people in everyday environments.

Context-based training

Exercises may replicate common situations such as walking through parking lots, entering and exiting locations, temporary separation between family members, the need to request help, and unexpected changes in the environment.

Any physical exercise is conducted in a controlled manner, proportional to age, and under supervision.

The best confrontation is the one that was perceived early enough so it didn't have to happen.
